In 2025, Austria exported 952,000 t of pellets. Italy remained the most important foreign market with a quantity of 745,000 t, and a share of 78% in total Austrian exports. Germany, Slovenia and Switzerland followed at a considerable distance, as figures published by Eurostat show.
