The CLT division has managed the complete market reversal from "too few" orders to a super order situation by the end of the year. Despite extremely extended delivery times, prices could not be increased in parallel. The reason is that the orders that were completed in the "combat phase" of the 1st and 2nd quarters have now been delivered.
For GLT, the warehouses are comparatively empty due to good demand and adjusted production despite the holiday situation. In August, even a lot of glulam was loaded towards Italy. "There were hardly any holidays on the GLT market in Italy this year," said an Austrian producer happily.
For deliveries in September, the first glulam manufacturers are starting price increases of €10/m3 and above.
