Considerably more European laminated timber for Japan

Finland (+12%) and Austria (+16%), i.e. mainly Stora Enso, shipped a total of 131,000 m³ to Japan in the first three months of 2020. In 2019, 104,000 m³ were exported to the Asian country.

Romania, namely HS-Timber, saw its exports rise by 7% to 42,000 m³.

Germany recorded a strong increase this year, with shipments increasing by 209% from a very low level to nearly 4,000 m³.
