At the end of 2019, the Austrian wood chip price index was at 154.8 points (base 100% = January 2001). This corresponds to an increase of 1.1 points compared to November 2019. Year on year, however, the index value fell by 27.6 points.
The sawdust price index decreased again in December and was at 302.5 points, which is 1 point less compared to the previous month and 38.6 points less compared to the same month of 2018.
