Norbord, Toronto/CA, registered an EBITDA of US-$273 million (€236 million) in the 2Q. In the same quarter last year, the sum totaled US-$165 million (€142 million). This means that the EBITDA increased 65% compared to the same period last year. In the 1Q, the EBITDA reached US-$170 million (€142 million). The reasons for this growth are, according to Norbord, increased OSB prices, larger sales volumes in North America as well as higher selling prices in Europe.
