German manufacturers of office and shop furniture generated revenues of € 404 million in total. This means that monthly sales rose by € 9 million compared to November 2016. Official figures from the Federal Statistical Office Destatis confirm this. The kitchen furniture sector yielded a total of € 438 million. This is a decline by € 22 million compared to the same month in the previous year. Other furniture sectors saw a turnover of € 789 million in November. € 8 million less were generated in the same month of 2016.
In comparison with previous month October, German producers of furniture and shop furniture saw an increase by € 48 million. Kitchen furniture manufacturers realized a plus of € 28 million. Other furniture sectors in Germany yielded € 74 million more in November compared to October.
