This means that production increased by 10% compared to the same period in 2016, as the European Pallet Association (EPAL) informs. Repairs figures saw a plus of 11.5% with 13.7 million EPAL pallets repaired.

In 2015, the 100 million mark for newly manufactured as well as repaired EPAL pallets worldwide was succeeded for the first time, and in the following year this was again outperformed with a total of 105.5 million EPAL pallets. Martin Leibrandt, CEO of EPAL, commented as follows: "I never would have thought that EPAL will be able to outperform the historic result of 2015, but the confidence users have in EPAL pallets remains unabated and continues to grow. This is something we are very proud of, and we would like to thank our customers for their trust."
