The "Tandem Forest Value" project will fund 12 different research positions in total, as Finnish Forest Industries announced. Existing research groups at universities and institutes can apply for financing. The projects will be realized as bilateral research cooperations. One of the conditions is that the research must be conducted in both Finland and Sweden.
50% of Sweden's contribution is funded by the private sector. The rest is publicly financed.
