Between the 16th and 19th of May, 69,000 visitors from 152 countries encountered 1732 exhibitors from 60 countries in Köln. Attendance and exhibitor figures as well as the size of the exhibition space gained 19, 13 and 15% respectively, as Koelnmesse reports. The positive atmosphere in the exhibition halls was a sure sign that not only the quantity but also the quality of conversations held was spot on. The increasingly international audience (79%) rediscovered new and old materials, was impressed by the meticulousness with which fittings producers improve their products and got inspired by the special area called "Mobile Spaces" dedicated to the design of mobile living space and convenient companions.
