Parquet consumption gained 2% in 2016 according to first estimations by the European Federation of the Parquet Industry (FEP). Full data are expected to be available at the general assembly in June. In 2015, the increase had been +0.5%. Except for Finland, all countries showed positive developments. The highest growth rates were achieved by Sweden, Czech Republic, the Netherlands and Belgium followed by France and Poland. Austria and Germany - constituting the biggest European market - are expanding as well.
