Finnish wood, paper and packaging group UPM, Helsinki is negotiating a potential sale of UPM's site in Schwedt with Leipa Georg Leinfelder, Schwedt.

Leipa would reorganize the production from newsprint paper to liner (450,000 t/yr) and plans on keeping on all employees, UPM informs in a curt press release.
