Between January and September, Germany's exports of particle boards (including OSB) saw a decline by 1.2% in comparison to the same period last year. In the first three quarters, 1.68 million m³ have been sold abroad.

Main buyer Poland (206,000 m³) ordered 13% less, and German manufacturers also had to accept sharp declines in exports to Sweden. In 2014, the exports of wood particle boards and OSB to the Scandinavian country totaled 107,000 m³ between January and September, this year the export volume only amounted to 69,000 m³ (-36%) in the same period.

On the other hand, exports to Italy increased by 24% to 75,000 m³, to Great Britain by 18% to 18,000 m³ and to the Netherlands by 19% to 171,000 m³.
