Year on year, the number of incoming orders fell by 5.8% (in real terms, calendar-adjusted). At €8.7 billion, the nominal value of incoming orders saw an increase of 10.4% compared to July 2021, which is the result of rising prices in the construction sector. In the period January to July, incoming orders decreased by 3.8% year-on-year in real terms, but increased by 11.7% in nominal terms.

In real terms, sales saw a year-on-year decrease of 11% in July. In nominal terms, on the other hand, sales grew by 6.6% and totaled €9.7 billion as a result of increasing prices in the construction sector. In the first seven months, sales were down by 4.3% year-on-year in real terms, but up by 11.6% in nominal terms.
