Success starts with the building permit plan

With JAF’s range of services offered for cross-laminated timber, customers can realize their timber construction projects quickly and efficiently – from planning to production. Customers can send their finished plans or, if necessary, draw on the know-how of the group’s experienced experts. There are many ways to send plans for a construction project to JAF. Customers who do not have a CAD program can also send their building permit plan as PDF file. Based on that plan, the construction project is drawn by JAF’s timber construction experts and the elements are prefabricated accordingly.

Always in search of the best solution

Once JAF has received the plans or building projects, its experienced team examines critical construction elements with the “Wallner Mild” dimensioning software. The elements are pre-dimensioned and examined according to Eurocode 5. When an element reaches its structural limits, JAF consults with the customer and makes it sturdier in order to meet the structural requirements.

The company’s experts also optimize elements which have to carry very small loads in order to guarantee resource-saving production while reducing material costs at the same time. The changes calculated by JAF are suggestions for more efficient solutions. The processing company is responsible for the structural analysis which has to be approved by a civil engineer or a structural engineer, according to the local building regulations.

In order to not lose any time on the construction site, JAF’s experienced timber construction experts prefabricate the elements already during construction.

After the construction elements have been finished on schedule, there are no storage costs for customers because the products are delivered directly to the construction site.
