The bathroom module was the very first prototype Tjiko designed. hsbcad is supporting the startup business in several ways. The Tjiko module can be examined in the Innovation Area of the International Wood Fair in Klagenfurt © Tjiko

The young company, founded by three Rosenheim graduates, is working on mass customization solutions for multi-story timber constructions. More specifically, this means serial production of individual modules. Besides a customization configurator complete with manufacturing and factory planning for timber construction companies, Tjiko is also planning on building its own production for 500 modules per year. For now, however, the company wants to realize several projects in cooperation with subcontractors.
hsbcad supported the startup's factory planning and provided Tjiko with licenses on business founder-terms. "hsbcad proved to be a very cooperative partner that supported us in many different areas", Lukas Schiffer, one of the Tjiko founders, says. Tjiko presents its first pilot product - a bathroom module - in the Innovation Area at the fair in Klagenfurt.

Another company closely cooperating with hsbcad is the Hasslacher group. The software specialist developed several special solutions for the timber industry from Carinthia, like for example a special loading scheduling or an integration of the timber-to-timber joining X-Fix for CLT into the software.
According to hsbcad manager Gottfried Jäger, these are only two examples of many where close and successful cooperation with customers made the development of customized solutions possible. Thanks to continuous further development and intensive customer contact, hsbcad is able to make everyday work and processes of the industry and timber construction companies easier and open up new possibilities for the sector. A good illustration of this is the revised version of the roof surface module that was presented for the first time this year in Klagenfurt. "Now, all special tiles including their management and evaluation are stored directly in the system", Jäger concludes his report looking forward to in-depth discussions at the wood fair in Klagenfurt.
