According to Eurostat enquiries, Italy's imports of laminated timber decreased by 11% amounting to 477,000 m³ (conversion factor 430 kg/m³) compared to the previous year. The volume coming from Austria declined 16% to a total of 360,000 m³.
Striking in this context are additional volumes from Russia (26,400 m³; +51%) and Poland (14,500 m³; +36%).
