Binderholz to acquire BSW Timber

The Binderholz group of Fügen plans to acquire British BSW Timber Ltd. which is headquartered in Earlston, Scotland. With sales worth around £700 million (approx. €825 million) and an annual production capacity of over 1.2 million m³ of lumber, BSW Timber is the biggest sawmill business in the United Kingdom. After the closing, Binderholz is headed to become the biggest company in the European sawmill and mass timber industry with cumulated annual sales of around €2.2 billion and approximately 5000 employees.

BSW has seven sawmills in Great Britain and one in Latvia and operates seven other production sites in the United Kingdom.
