High demand and further sawmill closures in Western Canada again led to an increase in prices.
Prices for European goods in the east of the United States rose by 10 €/m³ week on week to 262 €/m³ free arrival in the Great-Lakes region. This increase was also currency-related: Last week, the US dollar gained in value.
The current price level is thus 10 €/m³ higher compared to last year.
