Main customer Italy raised imports by +3% compared to the same period last year resulting in 1.1 million m³, Statistics Austria reports. Exports going to Germany gained +9% to 452,000 m³ compared to 2018. Some countries such as the US or Romania already saw strong growth rates in April with +33% each compared to the reference period. Looking at the first five months, still positive figures were registered, however, with a downward trend: +28% (77,000 m³) and +4% (30,000 m³) respectively.
