Despite further production cuts, Random Lengths reports of sinking prices for 2-by-4 by another US-$8 to this year's low: US-$387/1000 bft. This is the lowest value since mid-October 2018. 15 weeks in a row, there has been not one week that saw a price increase.

At an unchanged exchange ratio, European exporters currently receive €224/m³ which is €4/m³ less than in the previous week and even €173/m³ less than last year. In other words, European suppliers only receive 56% of what they were paid in the US one year ago.
