Between January and March, Sweden exported total of 3.2 million m³ of softwood lumber, statistikdatabasen reports. During the same period in the previous year, the export level was 3.3 million m³. Main customer Great Britain received 684,000 m³ (+2%). Deliveries to Egypt amounted to 366,000 m³ (+68%). Large declines on the other hand were observed for Swedish exports going to China (Q1 2019: 163,000 m³, -35%), Algeria (93,000 m³; -23%), Netherlands (224,000 m³; -19%) and Germany (184,000 m³; -18%).
