Purchasing activities on the US softwood lumber market continue to be subdued. In the previous week, 2-by-4 saw the sixth weekly price decrease in a row.

The current price level free Great Lakes region is US-$409/1000 bft. This is US-$4/1000 bft less than in the first week of May.

At an unchanged exchange ratio, European exporters now receive €235/m³. Compared to the previous week, this is a decline by €3.1/m³ and by €130/m³ in comparison to last year's level.
