2-by-4 free Great Lakes region keeps on sinking and is currently sold below the psychologically so important US-$400 mark: US-$395/1000 bft – this is US-$10/1000 bft less than in the previous week.

It was exactly one year ago that with €400/m³, the highest price for 2-by-4 free Great Lakes region was reached. Currently, it looks as if the price was be cut in half. At an exchange rate of US-$1.12/€, European exporters currently receive €228/m³. This is 43% less than last year.
