On the 18th of December, Metsä Wood sent a lumber-carrying train from the eastern Finnish town of Kouvola to China for the first time ever. On this journey leading through Russia and several other Central Asian countries, the rail cars loaded with 41 containers covered a distance of around 1800 km in two weeks, as www.xinhuanet.com reports.
