In January, British wood and panel imports decreased by 68,000 m² (-7.3%) compared to the same period last year. This significant decrease in solid wood imports (-16%) could partly be compensated by an increase in panel imports (+8%), as ttf.co.uk informs.

In 2017, wood and panel imports showed an increase of 11% to 10.9 million m³ - this was the highest value in ten years.
