With +8.3% in turnover and +2.4% in staff, Germany's main construction business showed stable development in the H1 compared to the previous year, as the German Federal Statistics Office (Destatis) reports. A plus of 6.5% was registered for above-ground construction, +9.8% for underground construction.
The month of June, however, shows a different development: Compared to June 2018, sales declined by 3.3%. The number of employees, on the other hand, grew 1.6%.
