Paper industry with positive results

The economic key data for 2017 show a positive trend. According to the Confederation of European Paper Industries’ (CEPI) annual market report, production, consumption as well as exports grew.

In 2017, European paper and board production increased by 1.5% compared to the previous year. Consumption slightly rose by 0.5%. Despite tensions in international trade, exports grew by 5.2% last year.
With more than 5 billion euros, last year’s investments increased by a marked 7.5% compared to 2016.
