Different criteria for wood sales

Article by Remo Bühler (translated by Eva Guzely) | 27.09.2022 - 09:42

The distribution of the sales pool on a percentage basis remains. 70% of the overall volume of wood is sold through tendering processes. The remaining 30% will be sold at auctions. What is new, however, are the revised criteria for evaluating offers. Furthermore, the evaluation of the individual criteria has changed.

What has changed:

  • The sales price remains the most important criterion. However, with a factor of 0.8 it is now rated lower.
  • The share of processed wood in sales is now rated with a factor of 0.1.
  • A new criterion is the evaluation of the degrees of processing, which is also rated with a factor of 0.1.

This is according to a press release published by the State Forest Administration.
