Softwood log price index stabilized

In the fourth quarter, the Austrian spruce/fir saw log price index rose by 1 percentage point to 107.2% compared to the previous quarter.

This is the first increase since the first quarter of 2018. At the time, a value of 128.5% was reached. In the fourth quarter of 2018 the price index was at 122.8% and in the same period of 2017 it was at 124.5%.
